Because, let's be honest, food is a way of life in NOLA. Respect must be paid.
From beignets to pralines, I don't think I've ever eaten so many sweets... and that's saying something! Three kinds of butter served with dinner, beautiful desserts, seafood mac and cheese from Miss Linda, oysters, waffles as bread... the list goes on and on. This is my last New Orleans post until I visit again, so I wanted to be sure and highlight all the good eats we had :)
Well those all look absolutely delicious! The food there must be fabulous. I feel like the oysters would be my hands down favorite
ReplyDeleteOh, the oysters were so delicious! It's such a different experience having them so fresh than the "fresh frozen" we usually get here
DeleteAs a foodie I plan a vacation to those destinations that boast the most flavorfully unique ethnic cuisines, the most freshly fried American food, the greatest gourmet fare, and everything in between.
