June Book Club

I literally CAN NOT believe it is June already.  Is anyone else having a hard time with this?

Last month, I focused on young adult literature, and I cannot recommend The Book Thief highly enough.  It was so good, so heartbreakingly beautiful, and just a wonderful little read.  Go and read it!

Now that I'm almost done with my student teaching, though, I wanted to pick something that is well within my comfort area.  And so, I chose some Jane Austen Northanger Abbey, a little satirical poke at gothic literature.  I'm excited :)  What are you reading?

  1. The Book Thief sounds good. I'm a Jane Austen fan, but I have never read Northanger Abbey. That is on my list too. Right now I am reading "Crocodile On The Sandbank" by Elizabeth Peters. I love a cozy mystery!

  3. oh, I can't believe it's June already as well, time is running like an express train, indeed:) That book looks really good, thanks for advice! I love reading classical literature too. Right now I'm reading a book about impressionism and it's meaning in the history of art.
    Have a good day, dear!
