Sharpie Easter Eggs

This Easter, like every year, we went to my parents' house to dye eggs the day before Easter.  Every year, I try and come up with a new way to decorate my eggs, and this year I decided to give Sharpie markers a try!

Super simple- just grab your favorite colors of Sharpie markers and go to town once your eggs are colored and dry.  I found that the silver and black worked best, but I did a few eggs with copper and gold metallic Sharpie as well.
Eggcellent.... ;)

Did you dye eggs this year?  What are your Easter traditions?  I hope you had a happy holiday!

Finally, I want to also announce my giveaway winners!  Congrats to Amy and Dani!  Amy, you will get to pick your package because your name was pulled first.  Dani, you will win the remaining kit!  :)

  1. Here we are painting eggs with onion peel, it the healthiest way to paint eggs and to make them taste better:) Lots of people are painting eggs as you did, with coloring matter for foodstuffs.))
    Happy Easter, dear;)

  2. I love your egg decorating idea. We might do that next year. The words you wrote on them are funny too. This year I just bought a zoo animal kit from Target and let my daughter go do her thing. She decided to modify everything to fit into her world of Erin Hunter's "Warrior Cats", a series of books she's reading. Unfortunately I ran out of time to take photos:(
