Hi everybody! Last month, I was reading Lolita, which I had an awfully hard time getting into. I think that Nabakov has an excellently crafted narrative voice in Humbert Humbert, but I really had to push myself to finish it.
So, this month I wanted to try something a little more modern. I've picked Tigers in Red Weather by Liza Klaussmann. It takes place in the wake of World War II and is about two cousins and their families. The plot promises secrets to be revealed and the elegance of Fitzgerald, so I'm excited to get started!
