April Book Club

Hello and happy April!!  It seems that our in-person book club is evolving into a monthly wine and snacks club :)  Regardless of the future impetus of our monthly meetings, I'm going to continue sharing my monthly reads with you, my online book club! :)

This month, we're (I'm?) reading A Mercy, by Toni Morrison.  I love her writing, and I'm so excited to read another work she's written.  I've got a library copy on loan for myself, but it will need a renewal or two- I'm so busy lately studying for the MTLE (I take it Friday, yikes!)...  But some pleasure reading is always relaxing :)

    This month, my book club is reading Where'd you go, Bernadette. It's a fun read so far. Since I'll be traveling, I'm looking for some more light reading. I'm thinking I'll load the Kindle with Tina Fey's Bossy Pants...

    I think this is a great kind of post, and I'd love being a part of your little book club, haha. ;-)
    I'm just about to finish "The Rise of Nine" from the I am Number Four series and have "Requiem" waiting for me, which I'm SO exited to read! x

    I have not read this book, I am so lazy when it comes to reading - I swear it takes me like a year to read a book unless I am on vacation. I always get half way through and then stop reading it, have to start over again.
