Valentine Nails

I must confess, I'm still working on not biting my nails.  It's such a bad habit!  I've been keeping up my nail polish addiction to curb my habit, and I thought I'd share some ideas for Valentine's day!

What says Valentine's day more than something pink and sparkly?  Paint your nails as you normally would, leaving your accent nail polish-free.  Then, apply a base coat and lay your finger in glitter.  Clean the edges with a toothpick, and add a generous top coat.

If you're feeling not so lovey dovey, you can sport some black nails with a pink and black accent :)

Or try polka dots in classic Valentine colors!  Just stick a pin into a pencil eraser for an instant and easy nail art tool. (Sadly, my top coat smeared a few of my polka dots....)
