Well, we had our book club get together last night for Anna Karinena. It was a small turn out- lots of conflicts and it was also freeeeeezing cold outside (today isn't any better!), but super fun with lots of yummy food.
Since we picked such a long and difficult book for January, we went with something most people had read at some point in their lives that would be good for a re-read: The Great Gatsby. An added bonus is the movie coming out this year! Book club seems to be turning into movie club.... ;)
Who has read it? Who is going to read it now? :)

I've read Gatsby, it's soooo good and I felt so intuned with the heroes position, sad ending but sooo many awesome allegories and symbolism of the new vs. the old rich, it totally still applies to current day situations! I can't believe you finished Anna Karenina in one month. I'm pretty sure it took me at least three! I've read Gatsby, but I'd love to read it again. Then see the movie. :)
