ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to read Dr. Zhivago. I loved the movie. The only Russian literature I've read was Dostoyevsky's "Crime and Punishment". That was really hard to get through. All those Russian names were hard to keep straight in my head.

ReplyDeleteI don't remember too much of it but I remember just loving Master and Margarita! What about Notes from Underground? That's pretty short. And there's always The Brothers Karamazov if you want something super heavy...

ReplyDeleteMaster and Margarita is my favorite. It is very deep, but genius. Looking back, when I was growing up, I was more concentrating in reading French, American and English classic books. I regret now, Russian literature is amazing. Good luck and and I am looking forward to hear what you think.
